SITRONICS TS, CZ participated in the ICTM 2008 conference
The fourth session of Information and Communication Technology Management - ICTM 2008 technical conference was held in Prague. This session focused mainly on information technology service management.
Prague , May 14 th 2008 - At the conference SITRONICS TS, CZ presented the integration of the Service desk system in the customer - telecommunication services provider relationship within the eTOM process model. In the course of providing customer support services, it has turned out that there is a need to integrate and automate these services and their management by means of an automated IT system - CSS (Customer Support System). This system enables the integration of individual customer support processes by means of a central system web interface. The solution, developed and applied by SITRONICS TS, uses the CSS system and can be operated on the client side as well. In this case the interconnection with the central system is realized by means of web services.
The goal of the conference, which was organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Telecommunication Department of the Czech Technical University in Prague, is to create the optimal platform for enabling the use of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the ICT area. Regular participants of the conference are IT managers and employees, who manage and carry out implementation of information technology management systems or outsourcing of processes in their companies. The message of this conference session was to show the basics of integrating processes, people and information technology management tools.
The CSS system, developed by SITRONICS TS, CZ, was the only CSS solution presented at the conference, which is deployed in practice on the telecommunication technology producer and provider side. This system supports the activities of individual telecommunications service providers and fully adheres to the eTOM model principles and recommendations.
