Philanthropy
Since its incorporation in 1993, SITRONICS TS has cooperated with the Counselling Centre for Refugees of the Czech Helsinki Committee and has since established relations with numerous organisations and projects in the area of social and environmental responsibility with the aim of removing barriers and prejudice in society. SITRONICS TS also supports closer ties between corporate and academic communities through cooperation with Czech universities.
Social Responsibility
Centre for Migration Issues
The Centre for Migration Issues provides foreign
migrants to the Czech Republic with legal, social and
psychological advice and counseling to help them integrate into
Czech society. In addition to these core activities, the centre
organizes multi-national meetings, art workshops, forums,
concerts and other public events.

Jedlička Institute and Schools
The Jedlička Institute and Schools in Prague provide education
and rehabilitation treatment for physically disabled children
and young people. The Jedlička Institute also strives to change
general attitudes towards handicapped people. SITRONICS TS
provides financial support for transport for physically
disabled people.

Counselling Centre for Refugees (PPU)
SITRONICS TS is a long-term partner of the Counselling Centre
for Refugees. The counselling centre provides legal, social and
psychological assistance free of charge to persons that had to
leave their home countries and are applying for asylum or
seeking practical information about their situation in the
Czech Republic.

Crossroads Foundation
The Crossroads Foundation equips maternity wards in Czech
hospitals with Babysense monitors for newborn babies free of
charge. SITRONICS TS has contributed to the purchase of these
monitors which ensure monitoring of breathing of newborn babies
at risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Fortress - Czech Sign Language Centre (CSLC)
The objective of this organisation is to remove
communication barriers between people with and without hearing
problems by promoting awareness about aural disability and
teaching sign language. SITRONICS TS contributed to the
creation of a Czech language textbook for aurally handicapped
people.

SITRONICS Centre
SITRONICS TS research and development centre at the
Czech Technical University in Prague was established within the
framework of cooperation between SITRONICS TS and the
university. The aim of cooperation between SITRONICS TS
employees and students of CTU is to support the design of new
equipment, applications and services in the field of
telecommunication technologies. Students of the university have
the opportunity to participate in resolving real tasks and to
become acquainted with the possibilities for future
professional development.

Environmental Responsibility
Partnership Foundation
Since 2005 SITRONICS TS has been the main partner of the Czech
Tree of the Year poll organised by the Partnership Foundation
within the framework of its Tree of Life programme in
cooperation with the Ministry of Environment. The objective of
the Czech Tree of the Year poll (
